Hi Leslie, Your pastel composition of the dancers head and the subtle tones in her skin are really beautiful. I love painting and creating art too. Come to my blogsite sometime for a visit. Bye, Richardson.
This is good! The proportions are basically spot on. Good job! Check out local figure drawing sessions. Many art leagues and guilds have them. You can drop by, pay 10-15 dollars and sketch a live model for a few hours. Its great practice. If you'd like, you can check out my art blog. Happy painting!
Thanks for your comments. I am in one sketch club...but they are in Malden...so I really have to stoke myself to get in the car and negotiate Boston rush hour traffic. I think your response may inspire me.
I am starting a daily painting project in hope to see radical change in my art. I have been painting since childhood. The art school years were a
time of immense growth for me. As a graphic designer, I have always had a hand in some sort of visual endeavor, however, painting has been a bit of a luxury. Given the state of the economy I can indulge myself...or rather I can indulge myself with no real opportunity cost!
I welcome your comments...they keep me honest. Thanks for taking a look.
