A drapery tie-back and curled ribbon. I like the way the tie-back catches the light, though I haven't nailed it yet. The curly ribbon has to be done in color, and the sheen has to be spot on or it won't be recognizable.

- I am starting a daily painting project in hope to see radical change in my art. I have been painting since childhood. The art school years were a time of immense growth for me. As a graphic designer, I have always had a hand in some sort of visual endeavor, however, painting has been a bit of a luxury.
